Moen DN8001 Pause Control Hand Shower

Moen's pause control hand shower is available in either glacier finish for a bright, pure white look or chrome. It has a limited lifetime warranty. It reduces waterflow with the exclusive pause control button. The DN8001 has the pause feature that will 99% shut the water off so the user can soap up. It will not shut the water off completely. This is to avoid a possible chance that the user would shut the water off at the at the hand shower and leave the water on at the valve and exit the shower.
It is lightweight, with a soft–grip handle with safety strap that provides a secure grip. It features extra–long 7 foot flex–soft hose.

All other products and purchasers including industrial, commercial or business use are warranted by a 5 Year Commercial Warranty for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. This Guarantee excludes product damage due to installation error, product abuse, or product misuse whether performed by a contractor, service company or yourself. At our option, we will either have you send the defective part or product prepaid to us for inspection, or we may elect to send you the replacement part or product without investigation. A replacement for any defective part will be supplied FREE OF CHARGE for installation by the purchaser. Defect or damage caused by the use of replacement parts other than Symmons Genuine Replacement Parts will void this warranty.

A pressure-balancing shower valve maintains the pre-selected shower temperature by instantly and continually balancing the incoming hot and cold water pressures. Without this type of shower control you would experience the unpleasant and oftentimes dangerous temperature changes that occur as demands are made by toilets, dishwashers, etc., elsewhere in the plumbing system.
The heart of the Symmons' pressure balancing mixing valve is a precision-crafted piston that "floats" between hot and cold water supplies. As pressure from either hot or cold supply drops, the piston instantaneously moves to compensate for the drop, thereby maintaining a safe and comfortable shower temperature.
Additionally, all Symmons pressure- balancing shower valves feature an adjustable limit stop screw. A simple screwdriver adjustment of the limit stop screw will restrict the handle movement to a safe maximum temperature.
