Dolomite Alpha walkers provide walking support for people with arthritis, neurological disorders, Parkinson's, stroke survivors or people with limitations in wrist or hand movement. A variety of adjustments can be made for arm supported walking. The Alpha frame is designed for more stability because of the higher center of gravity.

The forearm pads are cushioned and the rear of the pad is recessed to relieve pressure on the elbow. The arm pads, handle height and angles are completely adjustable for personal fit. The Food & Beverage Tray comes standard with the Alpha. HP handle is not available on the Alpha.

Alpha Advanced uses a padded brake bar. The ball joint allows you to change the direction of brake operation, push forward, pull back, and rotate inward or outward.

Alpha Basic uses a loop brake handle that is squeezed for braking.

New for 2004, padded platform. Instead of the individual forearm padded supports, Alpha will offer a full platform for larger support surface.

For the customer who requires a walker with more capacity, consider the Maxi+. It is a wider frame, 20.5” and has a greater weight capacity, 440 lbs. while remaining a 19 lb. walker. The arms adjust in increments for 6 inches of height range and have ergonomic grips. Maxi has a safety latch on the seat to guard against accidental folding when using the grab handle on the seat. Maxi comes in Metallic Blue color and 2 seat heights. The standard Maxi is also the tallest walker in the Dolomite line. Color: Metalic Blue

The newest concept in walker brakes is a wireless system. Stainless steel rods, encased in the frame, activate the brakes. The new brake shoe (patent pending) is stainless steel and designed to keep the tires clean and minimize tire wear. Adjusting the brakes for wear is easily done at the shoe.

Melody can be folded in two positions, one for storage at 14" wide and another for transport at 10.5" wide. This position has a catch to prevent accidental opening when lifted. A red safety latch secures the seat when the walker is open.
