While Trustlift meets National standards it is very important to check State and Local code requirements before purchasing and installing to ensure compliance. All local and State compliance is the responsibility of the purchaser. Check with your local and state building official/permit agency to verify regulations concerning licensing of the installer and equipment requirements. Current National codes state that anything over 60” of travel must be enclosed within a shaft in commercial applications. However, the codes that each state follows may not require this, so please check with your jurisdiction for requirements.
