Ground shipping is not an option for this product. 854 tub weighs 160 lbs when crated. If you order the wall surround system, call for shipping quote because the crate is much larger and freight is typically higher for that package. Please call if ordering quantity of more than one unit.
Note: Please check your hallways, doorways and any other space limitations you may have when considering the purchase of a walk in tub. Make sure you can get the tub into the area it is going and that it will fit in its designated space. It is best to confer with the contractor doing the remodel to make sure the unit you pick will work for your situation. Make sure the tub inside dimensions are adequate for the user of the tub.

Whirlpool & Maintenance Heater: The pump is rated 1 hp, UL listed, self-draining, with a safety suction assembly to protect against body or hair entrapment. It is mounted under the integral seat, features chrome jets and controls, and the heater is connected “inline” with the pump. It has a 16” square removable wall panel for future access to both pump and heater. If the unit has no seat or a different location is preferred, both the pump and heater are shipped loose with an extra hose for connection. Either way, the pump with heater will always be accessible should they ever require servicing. Both the pump and heater have plug-in style electric cords, and each requires a separate 115VAC, single phase, 60Hz GFCI protected branch circuit, and 15Amp. Both units will require a #12 wire. The 6032 model features five adjustable jets. The 6032-S model features six adjustable jets. The 6042 Extra Wide model features seven adjustable jets.
Matching Acrylic Wall: The three-piece wall surround measures 53-3/4” high plus a top flange of 1-1/2” to fit on top of the bathtub. It contains a shelf 34” long and 4-1/2” deep for soap/shampoo use, and is not pre-drilled for a valve so as to allow a choice of location on site. It is shipped factory assembled to the bathtub as a one-piece unit, or unassembled with hardware supplied as a client option. MUST CALL FOR SHIPPING QUOTES WHEN ORDERING WALL SURROUND.
Full Bathtub Skirt for “Stand Alone” Configuration: If access is required on three sides, a full skirt encloses the bathtub on all four sides for a finished look. A steel frame is used for support. Both end skirts/panels contain an easy removable panel (heavy duty Velcro) for accessibility which measures 23-1/2” long by 12-1/8” high on the 854 and 954 models, and measures 31-1/4” long by 13” high on the 6042 Extra Wide model.
Waterfall Filler: A waterfall filler allows for a more pleasurable and soothing experience for the bather, as opposed to the use of a traditional water spout. It is mounted in the back wall of the bathtub, and plumbed to the drain end with a stub for water connection using "PVC schedule 40" piping. An anti-siphon brass valve (ANSI certified) is supplied for easier installation.
Waste & Overflow: A one-piece system with chrome casings. It is ideal for use in the Low-Rise series due to higher than standard overflow location. It is not factory installed to permit the installer latitude when making the waste connection. The drain and overflow kit is optional and comes in either brass or steel and the company that makes it is Watts. The drain hole size precut in the tub is 3 inches.
Decorator Colors: Standard color is White. There are additional decorator colors available. Click on color link above. Most tubs are built when ordered and color added creates a custom tub that is not returnable.
Assist Bars: Made of thermoplastic. They will not peel, chip, crack, or rust. They measure 1-1/4” diameter, and are only available in white or bone/almond colors. The package consists of two 24” bars for a horizontal location on the back wall, and one 24” bar for a vertical location on a side wall. If a movable hand held shower wand is required, it is attached to a bar, and it is factory installed if ordered with a wall surround.
How much water to fill tubs?: 854 tub with seat water capacity is 40 gallons; 854 and 954 without seat water capacity is 60 gallons; 6042 without seat water capacity is 90 gallons.
