The portable walk in tub is 47” long by 27-1/2” wide by 41-1/2” high (lowered) and 45” high (raised). The basic design incorporates a hydraulically actuated under carriage that lifts the tub from its rest position allowing the user/tender to position the tub where it will be utilized. Once the tub is in position, the user/tender will lower the tub into its rest position and connect it to its outside water, drain, and power source. Once the bath is completed the user/tender will activate the power drain system, empting the tub. The occupant will then vacate the tub and the tub will be relocated for storage.

Details:

The tub is constructed of high gloss gel coated fiberglass.
The under carriage is a self contained, hydraulically actuated, mobility system.
The unit can be relocated by one person on a level surface.
The umbilical cord contains a hot, cold, and drain water conduit as well as a GFCI protected power cable.
The unit will self-drain with the assistance on its onboard 120 VAC drain pump.
There is a manual, auxiliary drain port utilized to drain the tub, by gravity, in the event of a power failure or drain pump malfunction.
The dual lever faucets incorporate a balanced flow, anti-scald, protection system. If either the hot or cold water supply decreases, the opposing water supply will decrees to a trickle until both water supplies resume equal pressure.
The hinged rear panel is easily opened to gain access if servicing or repairs are necessary.

The Regal Tubs, Portable Series, is designed as a mobile tub to be connected to an outside water, drain, and power source. Once connected to its sources, it is a stand alone bathing unit for those requiring easy access to bathing who have limited standing or laying abilities.

The portability approach allows the unit to be used by multiple patients in cases where facilities do not provide easy access to specialized sit down bathtubs in every room. This holds true in a home care situation also where existing bathrooms do not provide adequate room for lifts or the owner can’t warrant or afford a bathroom renovation for a walk-in bathtub.
